As a company, we take our environmental responsibility seriously.
That's why we're proud to announce that in 2022, our team members diverted a whopping 3,927 pounds of compost from going to landfill through our composting program!
Last year, we extended access to industrial composting through CompostNow to all of our employees and their households. Each team member was provided with a two-gallon compost bin, which they used to contribute to our company compost. With the help of our team, we were able to make a significant impact and divert a substantial amount of waste from the landfill.
But that's not all - we're also thrilled to share that a portion of that nutrient-rich soil (393 pounds to be exact!) was donated to our long-time partner, Raleigh City Farm. This donation allowed us to give back to our community while also doing our part to reduce waste.
As we continue to compost, we're excited to see the positive impact it has on our environment and our community. We believe that by working together, we can make a difference and create a better, more sustainable future for all. We're proud of the success of our composting program and are excited to continue building on it in the future.
